About Me

Hey! I’m Makena. Located in the Gold Coast AU with my fiancé and my sweet doggo Douglas. I love learning, dancing, playing with my plant babies, traveling, music, being immersed in nature, connecting with people, crafting and play! Basically I love anything that makes me feel like a kid. Alongside my love for astrology, I’m also a water and light enthusiast. Sounds super woo but it’s true! I believe that aligning ourselves with nature’s cycles and therefore wisdom, are of upmost importance in terms of feeling happy, healthy and fulfilled in mind, body, spirit, heart and soul. 

I’ve been an astrology enthusiast since 2010 when I first discovered there was more to astrology than just our sun signs. However it wasn’t until 2018 that I began self-studying in earnest. I delved into astrology books, podcasts, webinars and classes - anything I could get my hands on. Once I found traditional astrology, my love for this ancient wisdom system deepened profoundly and I realized I had to pursue this path. I finally decided to take the jump and study with Adam Elenbaas. I have since finished two years of formal study through the Nightlight Astrology school. I'm currently studying with Cassandra Tyndall and continuing to take courses and classes from many other renowned and respected astrologers. Astrology really is a lifelong study and I will always be a student of the stars. I started seeing clients in June of 2022. With each consultation I learn more about astrology, working with clients, and how to craft a meaningful reading. So let’s learn and grow together!
